Copa Airlines
Copa Airlines connects the Caribbean and the US through its Panama City hub, with one-stop options to Kingston, Santo Domingo and Punta Cana from Miami, Orlando, New York and Washington. Copa's Port-au-Prince service is suspended.
Baggage policy
Economy Basic includes a carry-on only. Economy Classic includes one checked bag of 23 kg; Economy Full includes two. Second bags cost about $45 to $60. Overweight up to 32 kg adds about $70; bags over 32 kg are not accepted.
Changes and refunds
Economy Basic is non-changeable. Economy Classic changes cost about $100 plus fare difference; Economy Full is changeable with no fee. 24 hour free cancellation applies to tickets sold in the US.
Notes for Haiti and Caribbean travelers
Copa is a useful backup to the Caribbean when nonstops are sold out, at the cost of a Panama connection. It is not an option for Haiti today.
