John F. Kennedy International Airport

John F. Kennedy International is the main international airport for New York and the departure point for Delta's nonstops to Lagos, Accra and Dakar, JetBlue's Caribbean network and Royal Air Maroc to Casablanca. For Haiti it currently offers connections only; the New York nonstop to Cap-Haïtien is at Newark. Brooklyn's Flatbush and East Flatbush, home to the largest Haitian community in the Northeast, are 30 to 60 minutes away.
Arriving at New York
Immigration is in each terminal. Evening arrivals share halls with the transatlantic bank and visitor lines can exceed an hour; Mobile Passport Control and Global Entry help.
AirTrain to Jamaica for the LIRR (20 minutes to Penn Station) and the E train, or to Howard Beach for the A train to Brooklyn. Yellow taxis charge a flat fare to Manhattan; rideshare pickups are in designated lots.
