John F. Kennedy International is the main international airport for New York and the departure point for Delta's nonstops to Lagos, Accra and Dakar, JetBlue's Caribbean network and Royal Air Maroc to Casablanca. For Haiti, Sunrise Airways moves its New York nonstop to Cap-Haïtien here from Newark starting winter 2026 (Newark operations end October 25, 2026; JFK flights run Tuesdays and Fridays outbound and Mondays and Thursdays inbound, first date and terminal not yet published); until then JFK offers connections only. Brooklyn's Flatbush and East Flatbush, home to the largest Haitian community in the Northeast, are 30 to 60 minutes away.
Arriving at New York
