Kennedy International is the main international airport for New York and the departure point for Delta's nonstops to Lagos, Accra and Dakar, JetBlue's Caribbean network and Royal Air Maroc to Casablanca. For Haiti it currently offers connections only; the New York nonstop to Cap-Haïtien is at Newark. Brooklyn's Flatbush and East Flatbush, home to the largest Haitian community in the Northeast, are 30 to 60 minutes away.

Kotoka International is Ghana's gateway, with Delta's nonstop from JFK and one-stop options on Air France, Royal Air Maroc and Ethiopian. Terminal 3, opened in 2018, is one of the most modern in West Africa.
Arriving at Accra
Yellow fever certificates are checked before immigration. E-gates exist for Ghanaian passports; others queue, usually 20 to 40 minutes. ATMs and SIM counters (MTN, Vodafone) are in arrivals.
Airport taxis have a rate board at the exit; Uber and Bolt operate with pickup at the designated area. Central Accra is 20 to 45 minutes.
