Accessibility Statement

Jetvala's commitment to an accessible booking experience and how to get help if something does not work for you.

Last updated September 8, 2026

In effect since September 8, 2026

Effective 2026-09-08. Version 3.5.

This statement describes Jetvala's current accessibility goals, testing and support; it is not a certification of complete WCAG conformance.

Our commitment

Jetvala wants every traveler to be able to search, book and manage travel on their own. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility bugs with the same priority as payment bugs. The items below are the goals we build toward; where we have not yet verified one, we say so.

What we aim for

  • Every form field has a visible label and clear error messages.
  • The whole booking flow works with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible.
  • Search results and price updates are announced to screen readers through live regions.
  • Colors meet AA contrast, and information is never conveyed by color alone.
  • The site respects your reduced-motion setting and works without the 3D and video layers.
  • Text can be resized to 200 percent without losing content.
  • Pages are available in English, Kreyòl and French, and human support is available in all three.

How we test

As we build the site we test it with keyboard navigation (every step of the booking flow, using only the keyboard), with automated accessibility tools, and with color contrast checks against the AA thresholds. A review with screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA) and at 200 percent browser zoom is scheduled before launch; it has not been completed yet, so we do not claim those results today. We have not yet completed an audit by people who use assistive technology every day; that is a goal, and we welcome reports from anyone who finds a barrier in the meantime.

Assistance on your flight

If you need wheelchair assistance, extra time to board, an onboard medical device, a service animal or another accommodation, tell us when you book or contact us later and we will transmit the request to the airline. US carriers and foreign carriers operating covered flights have obligations under 14 CFR Part 382; the exact accommodation and process depend on the request and flight. The DOT Disability Hotline is 1-800-778-4838.

Tell us if something does not work

If any part of Jetvala is hard to use with assistive technology, email support@jetvala.com with the page and what happened, or message us on WhatsApp at +1 973-392-2785. We aim to reply within 2 business days, and our goal is to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as we can and to tell you when we have. You can also book by phone or WhatsApp with a person at no extra charge.

Standards and review

This statement was last reviewed on the date shown at the top. We will update it as our testing matures.
